Please tell us a bit about yourself.
My name is Josh Roberts, D.C. I am a father of three girls ages 20. 18 and 14. I have been married for almost 25 years to my high school sweetheart. I have been a nationally board-certified chiropractor since 1999 and have been in private practice ever since.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife Jennifer and I have been married since 1998. She works in the office with me. Together we have three girls Sydney, Sofia and Isabella. Sydney and Sofia attend West Chester University. I have been coaching my girls’ basketball teams for over a decade now. We have three crazy dogs and lots of fish.
Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My favorite thing about being a chiropractor is meeting new people and making new connections. I most enjoy seeing patients feeling better immediately on their first visit. Watching patients’ progression from pain to feeling great is an amazing feeling. I am fortunate enough to have made many lasting friendships with my patients over the years.
Please tell us a bit about your business.
Roberts Family Chiropractic Center is a stress-free environment. We treat patients from all ages. From the very young to the very old, from the semi pro athletes to the professional couch potatoes. We use state of the art techniques to treat pain, such as spinal decompression for cervical and lumbar (neck and low back) disc pain. We have one of the few handheld adjusting tools in the area, The ProAdjustor, for patients that don’t want the traditional spinal manipulation. Our office offers massage therapy to help facilitate the adjustment too. The office has two flexion and distraction tables for low back pain as well.
What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I enjoy dining at Aldo’s right next door to the office. My family and I used to live in Newtown Grant and always find ourselves eating locally. Manny’s for breakfast, Isaac Newtons for lunch and for special occasions Rocco’s for dinner.
How long have you lived or worked in our community?
We bought our first house in august of 2000 in Newtown Grant. I have practiced chiropractic in Holland since 2005.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
My wife has family that live in Rome, Italy. We have been there a few times and I would love to go back. The history and natural beauty are second to none.
What advice would you give to people?
My best advice that I give is to work hard while you’re young. Either at school or in the field.
What is something on your bucket list?
I would like to visit Hawaii and revisit Greece again with my family.
What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
My music taste varies. I can listen to Depeche Mode and Beastie Boys to Elton John and Billy Joel. Pretty much anything from the late 70’s to the 80’s.
What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I like the tight night community feeling of Holland. Seeing the same people year after year and watching our neighborhoods grow with young families.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself still working in my office in Village Shires in the next ten years doing what I love.
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Curley’s Cheesesteaks in Levittown is a 10/10.
Who inspires you to be better?
My children and wife inspire me to be better without them even knowing it.
Where can people find you and your business?
