Q. Please tell us a bit about yourself.
I currently live in Wrightstown, with my wife Nicole and two kids, Jesse and Evelina. We have 12 dogs here at home, ducks and chickens! We’ve owned Geese Management for over 14 years. On our down-time, we like to go to dinner, travel to our mountain home and LBI to spend time with our family on our boat.
Q. Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I met my wife Nicole, while working as a chef at The Brick Hotel in Newtown, where she worked on college breaks. We met in 1997 and were married in 2005. We have a 16- and 15-year-old who are very busy with their sports and school, both attend CRN. My wife teaches reading PT at Rolling Hills.
Q. Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
We sort of “fell” into this business, saw an opportunity to purchase it from a former employer, and took a leap of faith! Prior to acquiring Geese Management, I spent over 20 years in food service and catering. I was everything from a dishwasher to an executive chef!
Q. Please tell us a bit about your business.
We use trained Border Collies to humanly deter geese from properties. We have routes set-up on a daily basis to clear the properties of geese. Myself and my employees/handlers drive with our dogs to all of our sites throughout the day. My wife Nicole takes care of the office end of the business.
Q. What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
We dine often! We frequent The Pineville Tavern, Solstice, Harvest, Taorominas for take-out, the Sycamore Grille, La Stalla, Vinces, The Irish Horne, Vecchia Osteria and of course an occasional Roccos trip for the memories and a good steak!
