Q: Intro Paragraph- Please tell us a bit about yourself.
I was born just outside of Ft. Bragg, NC to a single mom on Christmas Eve of 1975. We moved around a bit but settled in Bucks County when I was almost 11, in December of 1986. I spent a good part of my life growing up in Feasterville, I went to Catholic schools, and graduated from Archbishop Wood in 1994. I attended 1 year of Bucks before dropping out due to total boredom. For the sake of time, I’ll fast forward to becoming a mom at 20, and later meeting my amazing husband at work. I have been happily married for 21 years, and we have 4 children. We lived in Bensalem for 7 long years before moving to Richboro. Literally, the best 12 years of my life, and my family’s life. Northampton has been so good to us. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. I love it here.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
In June of 2023, I will be the mother of 4 Council Rock graduates. That’s amazing. I now have 2 grandsons living with me who will follow their uncles and aunts. I have 2 sons, 2 daughters. My oldest son is an Army veteran who served in Afghanistan. My other son is almost 19, and special needs, he has overcome so much. He currently spends his time at ACHIEVE and I give so much love and respect to Council Rock for helping my son find his talents and where he will best thrive once he ages out. To say we are proud would be a gross understatement.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career.
I was a stay-at-home mom for years. I became a CRSD bus driver in 2017. It was such a fun job. You will never meet better people than the men and women who drive the kids to and from school every day of every year. However, for me, I decided to spend more time taking care of my grandsons who need me, so I decided not to return for this current school year. I picked up baking more on the advice of friends. It allows me more time with my family, to make my own hours, and most importantly to be around for my grandsons. The decision has definitely paid off.
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
I love making people happy with food!

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I was at a soccer game today for my grandson, and I absolutely love how friendly everyone is. I ran back to my car to get a boogery toddler some much needed tissues. I was freezing, the grandmother next to me gave me her blanket to warm me up. Like extended family. Northampton isn’t very big, but it is full of super friendly people. One huge neighborhood!
