Q: Tell us a little about yourself
I am a mom, teacher, and one of the last farm owners in Holland. I grew up in the area and have watched the community evolve into what it is today. My children attend Council Rock South and Holland elementary. Both are active in sports etc. Our farm provides private boarding, horseback riding instruction, and we have a famous pony named penny that travels to local homes for birthday parties.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family has lived on our small farm since 1946.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am currently a second-grade teacher, but I most enjoy teaching children about horses on our farm.
Q: Please tell us a bit about your business.
Our business is one of the last working horse farms in Holland. We are not open to the public, but we do provide riding instruction, boarding, and have a mobile pony ride business. If you are looking for a unicorn or pony, please let us know.

I have been here my entire life, over 40 years
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I am inspired by real people that have overcome hardships and made their lives better. Jill Oster house and Emily Vullrath are local people that inspire me.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Somewhere peaceful and warm

You are going to face challenges, but this too shall pass, and you will overcome whatever is troubling you.
