Q: Please tell us a bit about yourself and your family.
I have a wonderful wife, Susannah. My wife grew up in Philadelphia and we met right before I started podiatry school in Philly. We moved to this area from Philadelphia about 8 years ago. We have 2 beautiful girls, Amelia and Hannah, they are 9 and 11 years old.  Both of our girls are in public schools going through the Council Rock schools. Our family would not be complete without mentioning also our pets. We have a covid puppy named Lizzy. We also have a new kitten named Griffin. We also call Griffin “GTS”, Griffin trouble Sohl, when he is causing trouble. We have 2 guinea pigs named Midnight and Willow and 3 remaining fish after a tank accident killed off the others. Those are all of the animals I hope are living in our home.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career.
I originally began my career in TV after graduating from Rutgers University at the New Brunswick campus. Right out of college I began working as a production tech for a small TV channel in NJ. At the same time my grandma was having some issues with her feet, and I was helping to care for her. She continued to mention that she thought I had a gift and that I should look into podiatry. After a while TV became very draining physically and mentally. When the internet boom began my station started laying off people once they hit a certain age range, and I decided I may want to search for a career with a bit more stability. I began looking at different options and ended up connecting with a friend of a friend who was a podiatrist. I was quickly convinced and enrolled in podiatry school at Temple University. I graduated from my residency with the Crozier healthcare system in 2011. I then had a handful of jobs in Bensalem and NE, Philly before beginning my own practice, Sohl Foot and Ankle in Holland, PA.
Q: What do you love most about what you do?
I love my patients. They are seriously the best and always very fun to be with. They all have great stories and getting to know them is great. I am grateful for the trust I have been able to build through conversations with patients. I honestly and truly love helping people. I also love having flexibility through having my own office. It is great to be able to be with my family more and set my own schedule.

We love to walk or bike around Tyler state park, and Peace Valley Park. We also have a great neighborhood with lots of kids, so we love just being outside in our neighborhood a lot of the time.
